Peru Lima East Mission Reunion

Here is a shot of the meeting we had with over 300 people.

Except for the old lady on the end, here are some of our lady missionaries that came to the reunion. Next we have some of the elderes that came and then the group shot. We started at 9 in the morning and by noon we ate and by 2 we started a meeting. I had each missionary stand up and we showed their picture on the big screen from the mission. They all wanted to say something so 3 hours later we started the video I had made of the pictures I had taken up to that point in the mission of them. They loved it. Connie had just given a very emotional and fantastic talk (she is really getting powerful in Spanish) When she concluded I didnt say a word, I just started the video. Then when that was done I spoke for a short bit and they were just thrilled to be a part of it. We then took pictures. The day was so long that many had to leave to catch busses or go back to work. So while I have pictures of all of them, I don't have them all in the final group shots. What an exhausting wonderful day. So many righteous, wonderful, active, productive and exceptional people. I told them they are my children and their children are my grandchildren. I told them that all of my grandchildren have to go to college and that the PEF will help them do it. Many more pictures to come. Just wanted to get something posted.

Wish I could've been there! It really makes me proud of you two. You really made a difference in your missionaries lives because they knew that you loved them, and cared about them as people.
