Connie in her Element

This week we went North to do our work in up in Talara and Paita Peru. We decided to leave Thursday night and when we got to Piura I had arranged to rent a car from a family here. We got the car and started driving almost 3 hours north to Mancora which is the surfing capital of Peru. Lots of kids running around up there. Our place that we had reserved was closed as it was late so we checked into a wonderful secluded place Thursday night. We spent all day friday (our p day this week--many weeks we dont get one) laying on the beach. I had a massage right there on the beach and mom soaked up the sun. I read a book as did mom and we ate some good food (shrimp). The next day Saturday we headed for Talara and did our training sessions and fireside there, stayed and then headed Sunday to Piura. In the evening we drove back to Paita and gave them a fireside and training session. When we got back to Piura, Fidel Uceda and his family were here to visit with us. We had a great day and Today Monday we are flying back to Lima. We took this trip on mileage as we have registered a lot of miles travelling while we have been down here. We basically had one day of Mazatlan. Back to cold Lima.

hummmm that is delicious no matter where you are on this planet! My favorite place in the world is a beach! Relaxing with a book on the beach is even more perfect. Presenting seminars has it's own high also. Sound like a perfect week end to me.
