We just got three missionaries from Italy. Elder Duque is 26, born in the Phillippines but having lived in Rome for 10 years (and l year in Seattle). He is a dynamic young missionary. This morning Connie opened up the blogs and saw one from Clark Hatch (Dan and Callie Hatch's son serving in Rome). She just happened to open it up as she had a couple of minutes and there she found this second picture of Elder Hatch with a picture of Duque and telling in his blog how they had just sent off a missionary to the Madrid MTC. Small world. We have 3 sisters also that are going to Spain missions (one is from San Salvadore and just got here last night). She has been waiting l year for her visa. We took her when we could get her. We are using 3 languages right now to teach the 6 missionaries. Very intimate but very cool. Pres. Moore (Madrid Temple) (CES from Bountiful) spoke tonight at our fireside and they were really good. His son baptized the Rebaza family in Arequipa Peru (that's right, our Bishop Armando Rebaza)

Wow dad that's so cool. Small world.
I love your connections. I love to make connections.
It sounds like you are getting in the swing of things! What is with the one or two or three at a time....do you not have regular transfer times for these missionaries in and out?? Here in Japan they were on a three week cycle?? Looks like you will be having too much fun once again!! Love you two!
that elder looks just like Dan did.
So fun! Thanks for sharing. I forwarded your comment on to Clark. He'll be very excited, I'm sure.
