GREAT YEAR

I know that most of you decide whether the year is good based on things like whether you kept your job, avoided the rest home or mental institution. My life is much easier, if BYU wins 11 games and wins their bowl game, it was a good year. I really had to sacrifice this year in the cold of Vegas to watch the game (my first live bowl appearance) but after rushing the field, getting the feeling back in my hands and feet and reflecting from the warmth of my Christmas mansion (which was rented by the way), I have decided it was A GREAT YEAR.

yeah that game looked cold and windy. I loved the 6 yard punts from Oregon State.

I don't care too much about how many wins, as long as we beat Utah and finish with a bowl win. haha.

Doug, Beverly and I and several other family members were there--freezing our butts off. But it was totally worth it. (My son and grandson also stormed the field at the end.)

It ranked up there with the 1984 Holiday Bowl and the 1996 Cotton Bowl, two of the dozen or so bowls we've attended. But this one was by far the coldest.

You are right....it has been a great year. The bowl game was the highlight. Just goes to show the PAC 10 that Mountain West is the Best!!!
