Pres and Sister Hill left this morning. This is the first time in their life that they have not been employed. They have alot of family in Utah and will go home to see them. They were wonderful with us. They are the kindest, gentlest people. He was in charge of the MTC's in the world for years and has been employed by the Church since he graduated from college. Everyone knows and love him and his good wife. We cannot possibly replace them. Everything is running the way it should be and it will not require any changes. We will have a lot of opportunity to just teach the missionaries. We have 3 going to Portugal today (a sister from France and two Elders from Cape Verde--one thought he knew the Wallers) We get 4 Italian elders in the morning. We have two north American sisters going to Madrid Spain mission and they have 3 weeks left. We eat with them, and are with them constantly so that we will really get close to the missionaries that are here. We have an ex missionary from Naples Italy that will be here the next three weeks to teach the new Elders and to translate for me with them.

Thank goodness for blogs. Love the updates.
Sounds like you and Connie are off to a good start. Looking forward to your great updates! Love you both, Kris & Phil
PS Hey, Ken Patterson wrote us an email and said you and Connie saw Gaye Patterson's twin sister Kay and her husband in the MTC. What a small world!
The Hills are indeed wonderful people. We lived in the same stake as they (two stakes ago)! They were friends of ours, and their children were friends of our children. Small (wonderful) world.
