41st Wedding Anniversary

We have been married 41 years today. We have had such a great life together. We have 8 children and 16 grandchildren. We have the hope for additional grandchildren. We come from great parents and have wonderful brothers and sisters. We have alreadys had the benefit of great love in our home, our relationship and with our friends and family. We have never felt alone or without hope. We have been helped and served by many. We have had the opportunity to serve others and thus become friends and family with them too. We feel a little old only because we get tired easier, and not because we feel like we cannot still contribute. We are thankful for our testimonies and for our friends and family.

"That they might have joy" is one of the greatest blessings Heavenly Father included in the Plan of Salvation. Congratulations!

Phil and I came home today from backpacking with our three oldest grandchildren over the last 3 days. We are fast approaching our 37th wedding anniversary next Tuesday, the 31st. We are greatly blessed to have you as friends. We are excited for our mission coming up this November. Maybe you can stop by and see us on your way home from your mission next January. In the meantime, maybe you'll be sending some German-speaking missionaries our way...Love you both, Kris & Phil

Thanks for hanging in there mom. Ha ha, just kidding dad! You two are a wonderful example to me. I love the sense of security I have in my life because of your marriage.

The picture with this post is beautiful.
