Earthquake

The Taipe Cucho family lost their house in the Earthquake. Their son is in the Lima Piura mission. They are rebuilding with the help of the church and Bro. Layton. We visited Pisco, Chincha and Ica and I think we have come up with a way to educate 80 kids over 4 months for $600 each to be bricklayers, electricians and plumbers to help in the reconstruction of the homes. We met with the government today and they will do the classes right at our churches in the evenings so we should be back down here in a couple of weeks to put it together. The bottom picture is the Catholic Church that fell down and killed all the parishioners that were in it. The only one to escape was the priest that told them to pray and then he fled. We are in this car by the park writing up a proposal to be used in these plans.
