Anaconda Connie

We had a great trip to Iquitos and the jungle. It was raining when we arrived and there was water everywhere. We took a day trip on Saturday and I found a 9 hole golf course and played it while Connie read. In the afternoon we went to a zoo and park along the Amazon where we tooka couple of shots. The last one is Connie and the Anaconda.

Kyle says "I'm in" and I'm saying- you didn't just find that anaconda on the side of the road did you? Because...um...that's not very safe.

I don't even know what to say. I am ready to wet my pants just looking at that picture. If they have those stinkin' snakes in Peru you will *never* get me there. Ever!

P.S. You do look fabulous however :0

We finally got a look at your blog sight! Wow!! Talk about entertaining!! You two are adventuresome! It was fun watching your pictures from college to now. You both have gotten more and more attractive.. what a thrill it was to get to know you at the MTC! I'm afraid we lost your email address. But remembered you had a blog site, so started googling. Glad to find you again!! We've brought our horses to Ensign Ranch with us and are loving our mission. I work in the office as the Office Manager so I get to meet wonderful people every day and Elder Thurgood does EVERYTHING!!! He's learning to drive a team of horses now... he's been a wrangler taking people for horseback rides and done everything from welding a trailer to powerwashing biffies! ha! Thank you for good memories at the MTC! You converted us!! ha! Our son and his wife are still planning to go to Mexico for Christmas. Drop us a line. our email is trudythurgood@yahoo.com

Ridiculous...Mom is straight Peruvian grabbing that big snake, and Dad--you are seriously living large right now.

Hit 'em long and straight! And if you can't do that, just keep finding the ball and hitting it again!

cONNIE I can't believe you would grab that snake. I would still be running in the opposite direction. I hope you don't mind me snooping in on you.
We are just finishing wheat harvest and getting ready for the potatoes.
I will be going to Angies shower on Saturday and look forward to seeing the rest of your family.
