This young man is David Nefi Tintaya and he is newly engaged. He took our electricity class, then got a job and now is getting married in the temple May 1st. He really did not learn too much in the electricity class, but he got a certificate that said he did and with it, he was able to get a job in a Home Depot type store just constructed in his town. The other two pictures are our graduation classes in Chincha and Canete in bricklaying. They are showing their tools and ready for another class.

Your life is so fascinating right now. I love it.
It is funny you would use the word fascinating. It sounds like our life is more than interesting, no? Well, when I looked at my folks and David and Pat had finally left, I thought that would be the best time ever. Now I realize that you have to like every step because every step has good and every step has bad. Our work is good, but it is a mission.
Well I have to tell you, I Know your work is appreciated, that example is just one, I am sure there are many stories like that, and you know in a country like Peru that's a big deal. You are blessing lots of people with your work. Love, Lani
Yep, missions are hard, no doubt about it. But so is college. So is marriage. So is raising kids--especially raising kids. All good things are hard.
I love seeing the fruits of your work (and of many others) in the lives of these Peruvians.
