The Missionary Training Center offered to give us a little speech and a great meal. The speech wasn't little but the food was fantastic. We were with about 100 missionaries plus the white guys (senior missionaries). Turkey, potatoes, salad, and apple pie.

Sister Zimmerman and I wish we could have gone to that feast, but we decided to prepare a Thanksgiving dinner for the local missionaries and for the office elders. We crammed 10 people into our little apartment, but we had a great time.
We also have missed the family home evenings for the couple missionaries, because we are working with some new members. We hope to get to know the other US couples better at future events.
